The actual owner builder insurance premium payable will be based on the following additional factors:

• If you also require Existing Structure Cover
• If you are undertaking activities that are deemed to be of a higher risk than usual
• If you have an adverse Claims History
• If the Government makes any changes to the Fire Levy (NSW risks)
• If the insurer’s security provider implements a rate increase across their entire product portfolio

An Owner Builder Insurance Policy that you take out will operate for a period of 12 months (you can seek to extend this period at a later time if you wish).
